Effective as of July 1, 2026
This document sets out the terms and conditions for your use of the BOSS Money Wallet, a stored value account and digital payment service (the “Wallet”) offered by IDT Payment Services, Inc. and IDT Payment Services of New York LLC (collectively, “IDT” or “we” or “us”) to our customers who use our BOSS Money or BOSS Revolution mobile applications (collectively, the “App”).
The Wallet allows you to store funds in the App and to use those funds to pay for money transfers and mobile top-ups you purchase using the App. The Wallet is currently only available in the United States, but may become available in other jurisdictions at a later date.
2.1 Terms of Use and License. IDT is providing the Wallet to you subject to these terms of use (the “Terms”), which are part of and incorporated into the App’s License. You agreed to the License when you downloaded and activated the App. The License contains additional terms, conditions and agreements governing your use of the App and the products and services offered through the App (collectively, the “Services”), as well as a link to IDT’s Privacy Statement. The License contains information about your legal rights and requires that all disputes be resolved through arbitration instead of a court trial and contains a limitation of liability provision.
2.2 Agreement. Please read this document carefully as it is a binding, legal agreement between you and IDT governing your use of the Wallet. By using the Wallet you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood and have agreed to be bound by these Terms and to comply with applicable law. If you do not agree with the Terms and/or the License, then you should not use the Wallet. We recommend that you print a copy of these terms for future reference. Though the Terms form part of and are incorporated into the License, if there is a conflict between a provision of these Terms and a provision of the License, then the Licensee provision shall control. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the information contained in any advertising or other materials regarding the Wallet, then these Terms will control.
2.3 Other Parties and Documents. IDT has contracted with certain service providers in order to provide the Wallet to you.
3.1 Changes to Terms. We reserve the right to revise these Terms from time to time at our discretion, and the updated date of these Terms will be listed at the top of this document. Changes take effect immediately once they are posted in the App unless an immediate change is necessary for a legitimate business reason or to maintain the security of our network or as required by applicable law. Please review the App periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Wallet following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
3.2 Termination. IDT may suspend or terminate your access and use of the Wallet at any time, with or without cause, in IDT’s absolute discretion and without prior notice, including if you fail to comply with the Terms, the License of applicable law. IDT further reserves the right to modify or discontinue, either temporarily or permanently, any portions or all of the Wallet at any time with or without prior notice. You may terminate Wallet by at any time and without recourse to the courts by ceasing to use the Wallet, withdrawing any funds in your Wallet and canceling any recurring transactions. Certain provisions of these Terms and the License shall survive termination of your use or access to the Wallet.
You must be at least 18 years old to open a Wallet. You can apply for, set up and open a Wallet only through the App. To apply for and open a Wallet you must provide certain information, including but not limited to, your name, mailing address, email, mobile number, date of birth, social security number (U.S. residents), government issued identification (non-U.S. residents; see App for list of acceptable IDs), and a government issued picture ID (e.g., driver’s license). You hereby authorize IDT, directly or through third parties, to make any inquiries we consider necessary to validate your identity or authenticate your identity and personal data. You agree and confirm that the personal data that you provide to us shall be accurate, current and complete in all respects. This may include asking you for further information or documentation about your identity, requiring you to take steps to confirm ownership of your email address, mobile number or financial instruments, or verifying your information against third party databases or through other sources.
A Wallet is only available for use in the United States, and some features of the Wallet may be available only if you provide us with certain information about you and we are able to verify your identity. The first time you access your Wallet using a new device we may require you to authenticate yourself and your Wallet.
In connection with your use of the Wallet, you may not refuse to (a) cooperate in an investigation concerning activity that potentially violates applicable law or the Terms, (b) provide confirmation of your identity, or (c) provide confirmation of any information you provide us.
You can add funds to your Wallet through the App by any of the following methods (if and when available):
(a) ACH — you can link your Wallet to a checking account that you own and transfer funds from the checking account to your Wallet;
(b) Debit or Credit Card — you can link your Wallet to a valid debit or credit card issued by a U.S. bank or financial institution (IDT reserves the right to charge a surcharge for loading via credit card); and
(c) Retail Store — in the future IDT may allow you to add funds to your Wallet by providing cash at an authorized IDT retail location.
By instructing us to add funds to your Wallet from an eligible bank account, debit card or credit card or make any other transfer, you authorize us to debit such bank account, debit card or credit card for the amount instructed, either in a single or recurring transaction, as applicable.
Certain funding features may be unavailable or delayed from time to time due to risk-based restrictions, scheduled maintenance, changes to our App, unforeseen circumstances, or outages.
You can store funds in your Wallet and use those funds to pay for money transfers and domestic and international mobile top-ups you purchase using the App. You will also be able to transfer the balance in your Wallet to any linked checking account.
You will have full access to your Wallet transaction history in the App, including your purchase history and transfers.
Your balance consists of the funds you have in your Wallet that are available for new transactions and are not subject to pending transactions. You are solely responsible for all funds necessary to complete any payments initiated with your Wallet. You agree to reimburse IDT for any fees, costs, or expenses it incurs as a result of insufficient or unavailable funds in connection with any payment you initiate with your Wallet. IDT may impose limits on the amount you can keep in your Wallet and reserves the right to change these limits at any time. The maximum balance you can have in your Wallet at any time is $10,000.00. You may not be able to use the funds in your Wallet to pay for certain Services or for certain transactions.
A. Maximum Amount — The maximum balance you can have in your Wallet at any time is $10,000.00, and IDT reserves the right to change these limits at any time. Alerts and notifications regarding your Wallet and any transactions and transfers will be provided to you via push notification in the App.
B. Account — the funds in your Wallet will be held by IDT in an IDT-owned comingled account at __________________ along with the funds of other Wallet users. IDT will create a ledger entry for the funds you add to your Wallet and will debit that ledger for all payments made using the funds in your Wallet. IDT will hold such funds separate from its corporate funds, will not use your funds for any corporate purposes, nor will IDT voluntarily make your funds available to its creditors in the event of bankruptcy. The funds in your Wallet are not FDIC insured.
C. No Interest — you will not receive any interest on the funds held in your Wallet even if IDT receives interest on the account in which your Wallet funds are held. In consideration for your use of the Wallet, and with full knowledge and understanding that IDT will receive this interest, you irrevocably transfer and assign to IDT all right that you may have in any interest that may accrue on funds held in pooled accounts.
D. Payments — if you use the funds in your Wallet to pay for an eligible transaction, then the funds will be automatically debited from your Wallet. When you initiate a payment from your Wallet the funds will leave your Wallet as early as the moment of the initiation of your payment instruction. Once you have initiated a payment from your Wallet, you may not be able to cancel it if the balance in your Wallet is less than the cost of a transaction, then you will not be able to use your Wallet to pay for the transaction.
E. No Liability — you agree that we shall incur no liability if we are unable to complete any transaction because of: (i) insufficient funds in your Wallet; (ii) malfunction of the payment due to circumstances beyond our control or due to circumstances that you were already aware of at the time you initiated your payment instruction; or (iii) inaccurate or insufficient payment instructions. Our ability to stop a payment from your Wallet or to recover funds associated with an unauthorized payment instruction is extremely limited. As a result, fraudulent transactions may result in the loss of funds with no recourse. IDT is not responsible for any fraud or other issues regarding Wallet payments.
The following fees are applicable to your use of your BOSS Money Balance:
We reserve the right to charge for or change the fees associated with the use of your Wallet at any time subject to the Terms.
You can withdraw funds from your Wallet by (1) linking a debit card or bank account to your Wallet and withdrawing the funds via ACH, or (2) requesting a check via customer service. You can make partial balance or full balance withdrawals.
You have the right to receive a receipt for your Wallet transactions. Such transaction receipts can be found in the activity section of the App. You may obtain information about the amount of money you have remaining in your Wallet in the App. The App will maintain a transaction history for all transactions using your Wallet.
In case of errors or questions about your Wallet call us at 888-909-3886 or if calling from outside the US 716-219-3010, or write us at BOSS Money, 520 Broad Street, Newark, NJ 07102. In order for us to assess the situation, you will need to tell us:
If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within 10 business days. We will determine whether an error occurred within 10 business days after we hear from you and will correct any error committed by us promptly. If we need more time however, we may take up to 45 days to investigate your complaint or question. If we determine there we committed an error, we may take up to 20 business days to credit your account. If we decide that there was no error or if there was an error we didn’t commit it, then we will send you a written explanation. You may ask for copies of the documents that we used in our investigation. For purposes of these disclosures, our business days are Monday through Friday and holidays are not included.
You are liable for all transactions that occur in or with your Wallet, except if we are liable for a transaction as set forth in Section 13 below.
Subject to and in accordance with the Terms, if we do not complete a transaction to or from your Wallet that is properly initiated according to the Terms, or if we transfer the wrong dollar amount, then we will credit your Wallet in the amount of the transaction.
We will not be liable for failure to complete a transaction, or for any error made by us, in the following circumstances: (a) there are insufficient funds in your Wallet to complete the transaction (through no fault of ours); (b) the information for the transaction supplied by you is incorrect, incomplete, ambiguous or untimely; (c) access to funds in your Wallet has been blocked after you reported your Wallet compromised; (d) there is a hold or your funds are subject to legal or administrative process or other encumbrance restricting their use; (e) we have reason to believe the requested transaction is unauthorized; (f) circumstances beyond our control (such as pandemic, fire, flood, power failure, strike, labor dispute, critical service provider failure, computer breakdown, telephone line disruption, government or regulatory action, or a natural disaster) prevent or delay the completion of the transaction, despite reasonable precautions that we have taken; (g) if you give someone access to your Wallet and they use your Wallet without your knowledge or permission; (h) if you, or someone else with whom you are acting in concert, act with fraudulent intent; and/or (i) any other exception stated in our agreements with you, including the License.
A. Other Documents. The Terms form part of and are incorporated into the License that you agreed to when you downloaded and activated the App. The License contains additional terms, conditions and agreements governing your use of the App and the Services, as well as a link to IDT’s Privacy Statement. The License contains information about your legal rights and requires that all disputes be resolved through arbitration instead of a court trial and contains a limitation of liability provision.
B. Recovery of Funds. You authorize IDT to recover funds from you in accordance with the Terms and any other agreement you have with us, including if you owe amounts to us or for reason of fraud or illegal activity. You authorize IDT to debit, charge, setoff against and otherwise recover funds from your Wallet, any linked bank account or linked credit or debit card, if applicable. Your authorization will remain in full force and effect until the later of closure or termination of your Wallet, or the disbursement of all funds held on your behalf. Further, in the event that any attempt to recover funds from you should fail, your authorizations hereunder include your grant to IDT of new, original authorizations to recover all or less than all of the amount you owe us or belong to us. You authorize IDT to take the above steps without prior notice to you and irrespective of (i) whether we have made demand under these Terms or any other agreement you have with us, and (ii) whether the obligation is contingent, matured or unmatured. Your authorization hereunder includes all authorizations to take the above steps in complete compliance with credit card network rules and the NACHA Rules. You agree that your grant of the authorizations hereunder has the same legal effect as if you had signed a paper containing the same terms. If IDT is unable to recover the funds by these means, IDT may attempt to contact you or may take other legal actions to collect the amounts due, to the extent allowed by applicable law.
C. Compliance with Governmental Authorities. IDT may freeze, withhold, or remit funds in your Wallet in response to a facially valid subpoena, court order, search warrant, or other binding order from a governmental authority, including but not limited to tax levies or wage garnishment orders.
D. Limitations on Use. You agree that you are independently responsible for complying with all applicable laws in all of your activities related to your use of the Wallet and for all transactions you make using your Wallet. We reserve the right to block, refuse, or reverse any transaction, in our sole discretion. We will notify the affected parties promptly if we decide to do so, but notification is not required if the transaction is prohibited by these terms or applicable law. Neither we nor third parties to whom we assign, or delegate rights or responsibilities will be liable for any claims or damages resulting from prohibited transactions. All costs for research and resolution for any misapplied or misdirected prohibited transactions will be your sole responsibility and not ours.
E. Our Relationship With You. We are an independent contractor for all purposes, except that we act as your limited agent with respect to the custody and transfer of your funds for the purposes set forth herein only.
F. Termination of Wallet. IDT may terminate, close, or suspend your Wallet at any time for any reason. Any such termination does not relieve you of any of your obligations to IDT under the Terms, the License or any other agreement you have with us. We will not be responsible for any loss, damage, harm or consequences, including any delay or inconvenience you may suffer as a result of our exercise of our rights under this section.
G. Services Upon Closure of Wallet. Any pending transactions at the time of termination, closure, or suspension of your Wallet will be settled. Any funds that we are holding in custody for you at the time of termination, suspension, or closure of your Wallet, less any applicable fees, (i) may be made available for you to cash out in IDT’s discretion and subject to the other conditions in these Terms, and (ii) we may require you to link a new bank account that has not been associated with your Wallet to cash out such funds. If an investigation is pending at the time of closure, we may hold your funds until resolution of the investigation.
H. Unclaimed Property. If your Wallet is inactive for an extended period of time it may be deemed “unclaimed” or “abandoned” under your state’s law. If this occurs, IDT will provide you with notice as required by applicable law. If funds still remain in your Wallet, IDT may be required to escheat such funds as required by applicable law.
I. Taxes. You may be asked to provide certain information used to assist IDT in complying with its obligations under the United States Internal Revenue Code and the applicable Treasury Regulations, or state and local governments. By providing IDT with this information, you are certifying that the information provided is true and accurately reflective of your use of the Wallet.
